well, why can’t you check out with ask.com ? I guess its less cost effective. You said, you have tight budget. Then why do you want to go to paid methods? Instead, you can go to any of the traffic services who does all the free tactics and drive traffic. If your budget fits $400 a month, I advice you to try with that kinda services.
If not, I advice you to proceed with less competitive and business keywords and bid more amount on them. However, its upto you if you want to play a game with PPC or go to other services.
