Backlinks to Your Word Press Blog

I’ve been fulltime online for nearly three years now and to be very honest, I’ve very seldom taken the time to write a product review.

However, when I came across the Automatic Backlink Creator plugin for WordPress, I was that impressed I just had to share what I’ve learnt so far and what I believe will be one of the most useful plugins for wordpress, especially for Internet Marketing folk. What seems a like a lifetime ago, of around one and half years ago, I purchased a product called the “Loophole Method” – the premise of that product and strategy was that by deploying  a small piece of php code on every one of a number of different blogs that you posses, you could rotate various url’s and anchor text phrases to enable to to build links to each of your money sites.  At that stage I had around 30 different blogs in operation pointing to 2 or 3 different “money sites” – sites with specific affiliate offers. Here’s what I’d suggest you do to get the most out of Automatic Backlink Creator.  Don’t make the mistake as many newbies do of only backlinking to just the root directory of your domain. Many people go to a lot of trouble of manually adding backlinks etc but only ever point those links to the root of the domain – www.yourexampledomain.com – for instance.  Remember this all important point when considering getting ranked by google – “Google ranks web pages NOT domains”. Thats right, so what I’ve found seems to work the best is your actually better off link to a page that is optimised for a particular a phrase (on page optimisation for word press tools is another topic I cover here) and then use the Google adword tool to discover what are the most relevant phrases for that particular phrase.

So lets take a gardening website for example;

You’d install Automatic Backlink Creator onto your own website / wordpress installation – (remember this is a plugin so you’ll only ever use this on self hosted wordpress installs) and once you follow the very simple registration and activation process, which took me less than 5 minutes, you are ready to add you first backlinks. So, lets say you have a page that is all about fighting tomato diseases without chemicals,  you’d create and name your page just that, (of course you’ve changed your permalink structure on wordpress so that it’s so the web url of your page title by setting permalink type to custom and setting as /%postname%/ – have’nt you? ) so your exact webpage might be;

www.mygardeningtips.com/fighting-tomato-diseases-without-chemicals and that page would be optimised for that phrase using my favourite wordpress onpage optimisation tool so then you’d submit that url into the Automatic Backlink Creator admin panel but along with that you can use that term “fighting tomato diseases without chemicals” you can go to the google adwords tools and discover relevant phrases such as;

• tomatoes diseases
• tomato diseases
• tomato disease
• tomato plant diseases

then by separating those phrases within the Automatic Backlink Creator url submission panel with “pipe” symbols | what will happen then as as this link gets displayed on various blogs across the network, the anchor associated with that link will be changed. Which is a great thing to happen longer term as you’ll then start to get traffic and search placement for a variety of searches phrases that are relevant to that page.
